Safety & Compliance

Manufacturing responsibly—know what Dimenl covers and what you must validate.

Effective 01 February 2025 · Applies to all fabrication, finishing, and logistics engagements.

This safety and compliance notice outlines how Dimenl approaches regulated manufacturing, what assurances we provide, and where your engineering team must take the lead to meet industry-specific obligations.

1. Intended use disclaimer

Dimenl manufactures parts to your specifications. We do not certify suitability for life-support, aerospace, medical implant, or other high-risk applications unless explicitly agreed in writing.

  • It is your responsibility to validate parts in the end-use environment, including fatigue, load, sterilisation, or chemical exposure tests.
  • Dimenl does not warrant that delivered components comply with specific industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100) unless contracted to do so.
  • By placing an order, you confirm that the parts will not be used in prohibited or restricted applications under Indian or international law.

2. Design validation

We can advise on manufacturability but we do not guarantee that your design will perform as intended in the field.

  • Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, or relevant risk assessments before releasing a design for production.
  • Provide critical characteristics, inspection plans, and performance envelopes so we can align manufacturing processes accordingly.
  • Request sample builds or PPAP submissions where regulatory compliance demands documented validation.

3. Material traceability and compliance

Dimenl sources metals and polymers from qualified suppliers and retains mill certificates on request.

  • Inform us if your project requires RoHS, REACH, UL, food-grade, or biocompatible materials prior to quotation.
  • Provide compliance forms, approved vendor lists, or blacklists early so we can respect sourcing constraints.
  • Dimenl can coordinate third-party testing laboratories, but associated costs are borne by the customer.

4. Handling and post-processing guidelines

Correct handling extends part life and maintains tolerance integrity.

  • Store laser-cut metals on flat surfaces; avoid stacking heavy loads that may deform thin gauges.
  • Prevent UV exposure for certain polymers (e.g., SLA resins, TPU) unless UV-stable grades were specified.
  • If heat treatments, powder coating, or machining will be performed after delivery, share the process plan so we can account for dimensional change.

5. Environmental, health, and safety practices

Dimenl facilities follow workplace safety norms and require the same from partner workshops.

  • Our production partners maintain MSDS documentation and provide PPE to technicians handling materials or solvents.
  • Waste disposal follows local regulations; hazardous waste is handled only by authorised vendors.
  • We audit partners on machine guarding, fume extraction, fire safety, and employee welfare metrics.

6. Incident reporting

If a Dimenl-manufactured part contributes to a field failure or safety incident, notify us immediately so we can investigate root cause and take corrective action.

  • Email mail@spadeinc.in with order IDs, photos, test reports, and corrective steps taken on-site.
  • Dimenl will assist with containment, recall planning, or redesign support within reasonable limits.
  • Where legal or regulatory reporting is mandated, both parties will cooperate to meet deadlines and documentation standards.
